For Program Coordinators

Thank you for being a part of the Resident Educator (RE) Program implementation team in your school or district. Your role is important to both your local program and to the Ohio Department of Education. You serve as the communication liaison between your local program participants and the Department. 

The RE Program can be envisioned as a journey on a path of continued professional learning that leads educators to more effective practices and excellence in teaching. The two-year residency program consists of a system of support and mentoring to develop:

  • Relationships and Communications;
  • Equitable Practice;
  • Professional Growth and Development; and
  • Instructional Practice and Building Capacity. 

 

As program coordinator, you will be working with local administrators and stakeholders to plan, implement and evaluate your local RE Program.     • To access the PC Orientation course please go to your Ohio Department of Education OH|ID account. Once you are signed into your OH|ID account, choose Learning Management System and click on ok for "navigating to an external application." This will bring you to the department's Learning Management System (LMS).
