Program History
The Ohio Resident Educator Program began in 2011. The local Resident Educator Program is a comprehensive multi-year teacher induction program resulting in eligibility for professional licensure. Requirements of the program include successful completion of the four-year locally determined program activities as well as the Resident Educator Summative Assessment (RESA). The Ohio Resident Educator Program can be envisioned as a journey of continued professional learning. The program leads educators to more effective practices and excellence in teaching.
