Monitoring Test Progress - New Test Completion Rates Option in TIDE
A new test progress report option is now available in TIDE when running Test Completion Rates reports. This new option,
Show by Scoring Combo, allows users to better track test completions for multicomponent (part or domain) tests for OST, OELPA and Alt-OELPA. The
scoring combo is the reported test assembled from the administered test components (for example: OST – Part 1 and Part 2; OELPA and Alt-OELPA – eligible test domains). When selected, the report will have a new row for each
scoring combo in addition to the components of a test. The component rows will continue to track completion of test parts (OST) or test domains (OELPA and Alt-OELPA).
The new row for each scoring combo test will show the number and percentage of students that have started
at least one of the associated components of a test and the number and percentage of students that have completed
all the associated components of a test. Students with domain exemptions properly marked will show completed based on their eligible domains.
As a reminder, completion rates are based on the number of students marked eligible for each online test in TIDE. This new option can be found in the Additional Options dropdown when selecting Report Criteria under “Monitoring Test Progress: Test Completion Rates” in TIDE.
For additional information on this new option, consult the
TIDE User Guide, or contact the Ohio Help Desk at 1.877.231.7809 or

Test Security

- Statutory requirements
- Types of test incidents
- Procedures for a Possible Test Security Violation
- District Investigation Report
Amy Dutton (
amy.dutton@education.ohio.gov) is the contact for questions on test security and to report possible test security violations. When asking questions or reporting possible test security issues, please do not send student names or secure test questions.
