OELPA Results and Rescore and Verification Window
OELPA results will be available online May 15 in the CRS, and the printed family reports will be delivered the week of June 5.
The OELPA Rescores and Verifications Window will be open in
TIDE May 15-June 26. Refer to the
OELPA Rescores and Verifications Guidance document for instructions.
OELPS-BK
The OELPS-BK will be available
May 30- June 30 for districts and schools that would like to screen potential English learners who are beginning kindergarten in school year 2023-2024. Districts and schools administering the OELPS-BK in June must pre-identify students in
TIDE before testing. The OELPS for Kindergarten will remain available through June 30, 2023, for the relatively few students who may be arriving late in their 2022-2023 kindergarten year and have not yet been screened as potential English learners. Districts and schools should be careful to assign the student to the appropriate test in TIDE because both the OELPS-BK and the OELPS for Kindergarten are available May 30-June 30. Refer to additional information on the
test portal.
Professional Learning Workshops: Formative Assessment for English Learners
Through its membership in English Language Proficiency Assessment 21
st Century (ELPA21), the Ohio Department of Education is offering tailored professional learning workshops
at no charge to Ohio’s educators. The remaining virtual workshops this school year are:
- June 14: Formative Assessment for English Learners (Level 1)
- June 20: Formative Assessment for English Learners (Level 2)
- June 22: Formative Assessment for English Learners (Level 2)
