Summer Testing  

Printed Family Reports: Printed family reports are due in districts Sept. 12.  

Fall Grade 3 English Language Arts Tests  

Pre ID: The fall grade 3 English language arts test window is Oct. 17-Nov. 4. Districts and schools must Pre-ID their students who are planning to participate. Remember to use the student Pre-ID File Layout for the 2022-2023 school year. Districts and schools must ensure all participating students have the appropriate subject mode field set to “O” for online or “P” for paper. All students, regardless of test mode, must be preidentified no later than Nov. 4. 

Material Delivery and Additional Order Windows: Districts that placed orders in TIDE by Aug. 23 will have their materials delivered Oct. 3. Districts needing to place an additional order for paper test materials may access the “Paper Orders Grade 3 ELA Fall 2022” Oct. 4-Nov. 2 in TIDE. 

Manuals and Scripts: Please be sure to review the Fall 2022 Test Administration Manual to become familiar with policies and procedures. The “Online Testing Highlights and Script” found in Appendix L of the Test Administration Manual must be used when administering Ohio's State Tests online. Additional information on paper testing, including the receipt, distribution and return of the materials, as well as the “Paper Testing Highlights and Script” is available in the Fall 2022 Supplemental Instructions for Paper Testing. 
 
Score Report Labels: Districts that wish to receive a set of score reporting labels for the Fall 2022 grade 3 ELA test administration must enter their requests in the “Score Reporting Label Request” task in TIDE by Nov. 4.  

 

Fall High School End-of-Course (EOC) Tests 

Test Window: Fall high school English language arts, mathematics, science and social studies test window is Nov. 28-Jan. 13. 

High School EOC On-time Order Window: The on-time order window will be open in TIDE Sept. 6-12. All orders are subject to Department approval. District test coordinators must complete the following steps in TIDE under the “Paper Orders High School Fall 2022” administration task to receive on-time materials. 

  1. Confirm contact information and shipping address under the Contact Info Task. Districts who wish to update their shipping addresses must contact the Ohio Help Desk at 1-877-231-7809 to request a change. 

  1. Indicate the UPS pickup date for high school test materials in the Supplemental Information task in TIDE. 

  • If districts do not know their pickup date, leave the date blank and click [SAVE]. Districts will then need to schedule a UPS pick-up following the instructions in the Fall 2022 Supplemental Instructions for Paper Testing that will be received with the district’s on-time materials. 

  1. Access the Search for Orders section and order the needed paper accommodation materials for students. 

  1. In order to receive printed Pre-ID labels, districts must complete contact information and Pre-ID their students with a test mode of “P” by Sept. 12 under the “Ohio State Tests 2022-2023” administration. 

Score Report Labels: Districts that wish to receive a set of score reporting labels for the Fall 2022 high school EOC test administration must enter their requests in the “Score Reporting Label Request” task in TIDE by Jan. 13.
