High School Continuation Program
The High School Continuation program is a free organized instructional program that provides persons sixteen years of age or older who are not enrolled in a high school an opportunity to earn a high school diploma.
High School Continuation Program Information
- Age: Open to individuals 16 years of age and older
- Diploma Type: Locally-issued High School Diploma awarded
- Availability: Available at participating districts throughout the state
- Testing: Students must meet the graduation requirements from the time of entry in ninth grade (earn required number of credits; pass proficiency/Ohio Graduation Tests, unless exempted from testing)
- Duration: There is no time limit to complete the program
