Registration Opened Aug. 8 for the 2024-2025 Assessment Conference

The Office of Assessment will host a virtual conference that includes three half-day sessions on Sept. 10-12. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day, the conference will cover a variety of topics and updates on Ohio’s assessment programs.  This conference is designed primarily for district test coordinators and other district administrators, but all are welcome to attend. TIDE User Accounts

All user account passwords were reset during the annual TIDE roll-over in July. Users will not be able to access any Ohio assessment system until they have set up a new password for the 2024-2025 school year. Directions for creating a new password are located in the TIDE User Guide. Click the “Reset Password” link on the TIDE login page to begin the process. 

If staff do not have a user account or if the user’s email address has changed, contact the district or building test coordinator. When the test coordinator creates the new user account, Cambium Assessment will send an email with a link to establish the account. Users must click the link in the email within 15 minutes and establish a password that meets the listed criteria to activate their accounts. 

User accounts are not deleted during the annual TIDE roll-over. All users will continue to have access after resetting their passwords unless the DTC removes access. It is the responsibility of DTCs to review all user accounts in their school or district and make necessary updates.
 

Cambium System Enhancements and Technology Updates

2024-2025 Preidentification (Pre-ID) and Student Results File Layouts

The Pre-ID File Layout for importing student registration data into TIDE and the Student Results File Layout for retrieving test results from the CRS have been updated for the 2024-2025 school year.
 
The Student Results File Layout has been updated with new fields to support Alt-OELPA results. Minor changes to a few existing fields are noted. 

There are no changes to the fields or acceptable values of the Pre-ID File Layout. The layout file format has been updated for ease of use. 

For details on the changes, refer to this announcement on the test portal. Please share these layouts with ITCs, data managers, and any others who work with these files so they may prepare their systems.
 

Upcoming Scheduled Maintenance

Cambium Assessment conducts periodic maintenance of their testing systems to ensure system stability and reliability throughout the school year. The next maintenance period will start on Friday, Aug. 23, beginning at 8 p.m. and can last up to 48 hours. Note this maintenance period is longer than a typical maintenance period.
