Spring 2024 Released Items
Released items from the spring 2024 Ohio’s State Tests have been added to the
Student Practice Site. The items give educators insight into the kinds of questions students experience and are a useful tool to inform classroom instruction and assessment. Both teachers and parents can use the items to help students know what types of items to expect when taking summative (operational) tests. Along with the released items are the Item Scoring Guides. Please see the
Back-to-School issue of the District Test Coordinator Newsletter (July 2024) for more information about the spring 2024 released items and scoring guides.
Assessment Authoring
Assessment Authoring, launched in August 2023, enables teachers to create their own tests from a large bank of Ohio test items. Teachers may administer these tests to their students using the Test Delivery System, and view results in the
Centralized Reporting System (CRS).
Training materials are available on the test portal.
Additional items will be available in Assessment Authoring in September for both the OST and Alternate Assessment for Students with the Most Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD) item banks. Refer to the Assessment Authoring article in the
Back-to-School issue of the District Test Coordinator Newsletter (July 2024) for more information.
