Finishing Up Spring Testing

Another testing season and school year is ending.
  • The mathematics, science, and social studies test administration window closes May 9. All scorable paper documents must be returned no later than Monday, May 12.
  • Results for spring tests will be available in the Centralized Reporting System (CRS) on the dates listed in the Key Dates section located at the end of this newsletter. Once test scores are posted, districts may download or print Individual Student Reports (ISRs) from the CRS to satisfy the June 30 statutory reporting date requirement. Please see the Family Notification information on the Department’s website for more information.
  • Districts may submit rescore requests in TIDE May 21-July 24. Refer to the OST Rescores and Verifications Guidance document for instructions.
  • Printed OST family reports and score labels will only be sent to those districts that request them in TIDE by May 9. Printed family reports and labels will be delivered on July 16. If a district does not want to receive printed family reports or score labels, no action is required.

Summer Grade 3 English Language Arts (ELA) and High School End-of-Course Test Administrations

Summer testing is optional; students, schools, and districts may elect to participate. The summer 2025 test administration windows are listed in the Key Dates section located at the end of this newsletter.
  • The grade 3 ELA on-time order window is open in TIDE May 5-9 for districts to confirm their participation under the “Paper Orders Grade 3 ELA Summer 2025” administration in TIDE.
  • In the Initial Orders task, verify contact information and click [Verify] to receive printed Pre-ID labels based on records marked with “P” for the ELA paper test mode.
  • No test booklets can be ordered in this window, and the material quantities will be grayed out under the Search for Orders section on this page.
  • Orders for paper test materials can be placed during the additional order window, opening June 9, after spring grade 3 ELA test results are available (see Key Dates section).
  • Orders placed June 9-13 that are approved by 9:30 am on June 13 will be delivered on June 16.
  • High school EOC braille tests may be ordered by calling the Ohio Help Desk (1-877-231-7809) June 19-July 2.
