ACT/SAT Updates

The Vendor Selection Survey is closed and vendors sent welcome letter emails with instructions for logging into their systems in October. If your school or district did not select a vendor and/or you have not received the welcome letter email from the vendor that you anticipated, please contact StateFundedAssessments@education.ohio.gov.

JVSDs and ESCs should have received an email from each vendor about their options for participation. Please notify the vendors you will be working with about the participation option that you’ve chosen by the deadline the vendors have set.

Upcoming Office Hours and Other Online Opportunities for Training and Answers:

College Board - SAT
  • Nov. 14 - SSD Coordinator Training posted
  • Nov. 19 and Dec. 4 - Live Watch with Q & A session (Click the date to register)
  • January (date TBD) - Test Coordinator Training with live viewing and Q&A sessions
College Board’s School Onboarding Survey should have been completed by Oct. 28. If the district chose SAT for its assessment and did not complete the onboarding survey, the district should contact StateFundedAssessments@education.ohio.gov.

District Coordinators will receive an email with information and access to the Interactive Checklist on Dec. 8. Please look for that important email.

ACT participation agreements must be signed and submitted before test coordinators are able to choose test dates. Please make sure that the school or district has received and submitted their participation agreement this fall to ensure participation in spring testing.

ACT is shipping directly to schools this year instead of to districts. Information about this was included in the welcome email. More detailed information about how this will impact school and district personnel will be coming when materials are shipped.
