School Counselors

School counselors play a vital role in school districts throughout Ohio by guiding students toward success in their education and future careers. School Counselors support all students in grades PreK-12 with academic achievement, social and emotional development and career planning. This page provides information and resources on various topics including standards, evaluation, licensure and other resources that support the work of school counselors.


Graduation Office Hours

Graduation Office Hours will include various topical presentations from experts within the Department and the field. These presentations will take up a portion of the virtual event and there will be time during each session to ask questions of the expert speaker and any general graduation questions. Graduation Open Office Hours will be held biweekly on Fridays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Sign up here!
