A new sponsor evaluation system takes effect in January 2015. The evaluation will include three components related to sponsoring community schools in order to rate the sponsor’s overall performance.

On June 4, the Ohio General Assembly passed the Mid-Biennium Review, which contains a variety of key education measures. This analysis, prepared by the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, includes summaries of the provisions that will become law when signed by Gov. Kasich. The column “As Reported by Conference Committee” represents the version that was passed by the General Assembly June 4.
