Currently, there are over one million adults in Ohio without a high school diploma. The Adult (22+) High School Diploma Program creates a new pathway for these individuals ages 22 and over to earn a high school diploma. The provider application opens on March 16 for eligible educational institutions interested in providing this opportunity to adult learners.
New rules governing the creation and submission of school safety plans went into effect Jan. 5. The new law and the associated administrative rule are available at https://saferschools.ohio.gov/content/school_safety_plans.

The revised Ohio Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities became effective on July 1, 2014. The Office for Exceptional Children has provided a brief Summary of Changes to the Ohio Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities.
