Who can register to be an Equity Ambassador?
Any internal stakeholder within a Career-Technical Planning District who is passionate about equity in education. One volunteer per district, please.

How do you become a career-technical education Equity Ambassador?
- To register, send your name, school and CTPD, preferred mailing address (school or home), preferred email, preferred phone and role within the CTPD (teacher, administrator, counselor, etc.) in an email to: Rebecca.Crance@education.ohio.gov.
- Upon registration, you will be given access to 3 online courses through the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity (NAPE). These three courses will provide foundational knowledge in Micromessaging, Self-Efficacy and Mindset. NAPE will also provide 3 toolkits and worksheet bundles in a digital format and a physical copy will be sent through the mail to the address provided during registration.
- Equity Ambassadors will receive a certificate upon completion of initial NAPE courses from the Office of Career-Technical Education.

How would our district benefit from having an Equity Ambassador?
- The first 20 registered participants will receive access to the online NAPE courses for 10 additional internal stakeholders in their districts.
- Equity Ambassadors will act as a local equity expert for the district.
- Equity Ambassadors may be used as a resource for equity-related questions on the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment and Local Application.
- Equity Ambassadors will be invited to participate in upcoming equity webinars, contribute to the new equity newsletter, and take part in Equity Labs.
- Equity Ambassadors will receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for completed professional development courses.
