Rigor, text complexity, research, college and career readiness are just a few of the concepts central to Ohio's Learning Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics. INFOhio offers you thousands of free resources to incorporate them into the classroom. Whether you need video, peer-reviewed journal articles, a framework for teaching research skills, or advice from fellow educators, you’ll find that and more at www.infohio.org.
IMatrix your key to the Standards
What looks like a Rubik’s cube and helps you find classroom resources for Ohio's Learning Standards ? INFOhio’s IMatrix. The IMatrix (http://imatrix.infohio.org) helps you design inquiry-based instruction that aligns to content standards of the four core curriculum areas: ELA, math, science, and social studies. By searching the matrix by standard or by subject area and grade, you can see how to skills are scaffolded for students, find interdisciplinary connections and link to resources to teach those skills. Grades K-8 are available now. Grades 9-12 will follow later in 2013.
