Teacher Credentialing Grant Fiscal Year 2024 Awardees

Ohio's Biennium Budget for FY 24 and 25, House Bill 33,  allocated up to $3,000,000 per fiscal year for grants to support graduate coursework for high school teachers to receive credentialing to teach College Credit Plus courses in a high school setting. Awarded in consultation with the Ohio Department of Higher Education, five awardees will use the funds to cover the costs of tuition, textbooks, and other materials to support teachers across various districts as they work to become credentialed to teach College Credit Plus courses at their high schools.   

Grantees for Fiscal Year 2024 include the following:  

  • Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio  received $446,129.97
  • Kent State University  received $182,275.02
  • East Central Ohio Educational Service Center received $919,552.79
  • Montgomery County Educational Service Center received $230,364.39
  • Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio  received $1,221,677.82
