EMIS Newsflash – June 14, 2023

6/14/2023

Alt-OELPA Results
The results of the Alt-OELPA administered during the 2022-2023 school year are planned to be reported to districts via Cambium’s Centralized Reporting System in September 2023, after EMIS data collections for the 2022-2023 assessments have closed. The results will be released later than usual this first year of the test because the Alt-OELPA standard setting will occur in late summer.

Districts and schools that administered the Alt-OELPA during the 2022-2023 school year should not report anything for Alt-OELPA (not results, nor Score Not Reported Reason Codes) to EMIS during 2022-2023 data collections.

During the 2023-2024 school year, districts will report the results of the 2023 Alt-OELPA and the 2024 Alt-OELPA, including Score Not Reported Reason Codes when applicable.

If districts already have reported Score Not Reported Reason Codes for the 2023 Alt-OELPA administration in the FY23 OELPA Assessment (A) Collection, they should remove these records prior to the closing of the reporting window on Aug. 4, 2023.

As a reminder, the OELPA and Alt-OELPA results of students with valid domain exemptions should be reported with Score Not Reported Reason Code option L – Student has a disability condition for which no vendor accommodation exists.

Please contact your local Information Technology Center (ITC) with questions or concerns.
