Emergency and Accident Response June 12 and June 16, 2025 Bus Driver In-Service

The Ohio Pre-service program, in collaboration with the Office of Pupil Transportation and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, will be hosting two five hour in-service sessions in June. Two sessions available! The cost is $50.00 per registered attendee.

Emergency and Accident Response June 12 and June 16, 2025 Bus Driver In-Service

We have an exciting training program to offer this summer, focusing on emergency and accident response. This will be hands on training, a rain or shine event.

Trainings will include:

School Bus Roll Over
Use of Emergency Equipment
Fire Extinguisher Simulator
Smoked Out Bus
EMA Informational/Response Class
Special Needs Evacuation
Fire Department Demonstration

Dress Code: Please wear comfortable closed-toe, low heel shoes, as the event will be held in a parking lot with moderate walking and possible uneven or gravel surfaces. Some activities will require drivers to evacuate the bus and enter/exit a bus on its side. You may be exposed to broken glass or fragments of metal.
