Through a memorandum of understanding with Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Chicago invite Ohio English language arts, English as a second language, and world language teachers to apply to the Teaching English in Taiwan Program. The program seeks current classroom teachers and recently retired teachers who maintain current Ohio licensure. Educators selected to work in Taiwan will teach English as a foreign language to elementary or middle school students for one academic year. Initial teaching contracts typically last for 11 months.
