Classified Leaders Training: Recruit, support and retain staff

Every adult in a school is integral in preparing students to succeed. Classified Leaders Training will build the capacity of support staff leaders and provide practical strategies in the areas of recruitment, branding and communication, hiring practices, ethics and discipline, and employee well-being and engagement.

This one-day, in-person training is specifically designed for noninstructional staff leaders who have a role in hiring and managing people, such as the head of technology, nutrition, transportation, student services or instructional aides. Participants will receive an e-badge and contact hours.

Training dates and locations include:

  • Wednesday, June 7, at Gahanna-Jefferson Schools, Clark Hall (Gahanna)
  • Thursday, June 8, at Southern Ohio Educational Service Center (Wilmington)
  • Monday, June 12, at Montgomery County Educational Service Center (Dayton)
