Creating Trauma-Informed, Resilient-Focused Classrooms training at no cost

The Great Lakes Mental Health Technology Transfer Center (MHTTC) will host “Creating Trauma-Informed, Resilience-Focused Classrooms,” a free, virtual training for educators and school staff April 27.
The training will provide an understanding of the impact of trauma and practical strategies for promoting resilience and rethinking discipline in classrooms.
As a result of the training, attendees will be able to:
- Define trauma and how it impacts learning;
- Understand the Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs) study and how educators can support students who have experienced tragedy; and
- Learn strategies to promote resilience and regulate students.
