Fiscal year 2023 data appeal windows opening soon

FY23 Data Appeals for Child Outcome Summary Assessment and Early Learning Assessment Open
From Monday, Aug. 28, through Friday, Sept. 8, districts may appeal the following FY23 data:

• Child Outcome Summary Assessment;
• Early Learning Assessment.

The superintendent, EMIS coordinator and superintendent designee all can access and fill out the data appeal forms. However, the forms are not officially submitted to the Department until the superintendent approves the form to complete the process.

FY23 Financial Data Appeal Opening Soon
From Thursday, Aug. 31, through Friday, Sept. 22, treasurers may appeal their FY23 financial data. These data may affect measures on the 2023 Ohio School Report Cards, as well as state funding received by districts.

FY24 Retention Data Appeal Opening Soon
From Thursday, Sept. 5, through Friday, Sept. 6, districts may appeal their FY24 retention data. These data may affect measures on the 2023 Ohio School Report Cards.

FY23 Finance Data Review and Verification Opening Soon 
Starting on Sept. 5, treasurers must complete a required review of their 2023 finance data reported in EMIS. Treasurers must signify whether these data are accurate as they complete and submit the 2023 Finance Data Review form.
