Free resources to curate book collections for children and young adults

The Ohio Collection Analysis Initiative gives educators and library staff the dedicated space, time and resources to pause and evaluate their collections of children’s and young adult books. Initiative participants receive free use of tools and materials that will help them reflect upon the children’s and young adult titles that they provide for their community.

Available through the State Library of Ohio, this initiative is free for staff working in all types of Ohio schools and libraries. Participants set their own goals and progress at their own pace. They also receive personalized support through Oct. 31, unlimited access to a Collection Analysis Toolkit and access to a vetted collection of materials about children's and young adult books and authors.
