New video and resources to prepare for 2024 solar eclipse

In preparation for the upcoming total solar eclipse in April, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has assembled a variety of resources including a new eclipse video that provides an overview of this event and ways to build excitement with students.

While many portions of the state will have the opportunity to experience totality, even those outside the path of totality may see coverage of 95% or more. Provisions for safe viewing of this once-in-a-lifetime eclipse are important at every Ohio location.
