Summer STEM apprenticeships available for high school students

1/23/2023

What do cutting-edge research, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and unparalleled access to professional scientists and engineers have in common? In the Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) High School Apprenticeship, students can spend their summer in a university research lab or one of the U.S. Army Research Laboratories and Centers through this unique apprenticeship opportunity. Ohio has a program at Miami University where high school students will experience firsthand the innovation and research that is driving the future of our country. Students can do something meaningful this summer to prepare for competitive college admissions and the next step in their STEM journey. To participate in an AEOP Apprenticeship, complete an application by March 5. Participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents and there is no commitment to join the military.
