Apply for Early Childhood Education Grant by June 23

Eligible preschool programs and day care providers can apply for the Early Childhood Education Grant to receive $4,000 per slot to serve children in high-quality, part-day preschool programming.

Applications for slot awards will be accepted on or before June 23 at 11:59 p.m. Application instructions and processes are on the FY24 Early Childhood Education Grant webpage.

Eligible applicants must be located within the geographic boundary of an eligible school district and be rated 3-, 4- or 5-stars in Step Up To Quality. Existing Early Childhood Education grantees, Ohio Department of Education-licensed preschool programs and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services-licensed child care providers serving 3-5-year-olds may apply, including family child care providers.
