Annual venereal disease and sexual education instruction audit reporting

Ohio law requires the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce to conduct an annual audit of each city, local, and exempted village school district relative to its compliance with the requirements for venereal disease and sexual education instruction.
The Department will collect information for the 2023-2024 school year. Starting March 18, districts may visit the Venereal Disease and Sexual Education Instruction Audit webpage for more information.
The audit questions are in the monitoring system, found in the OHID portal. The 2023-2024 audit will be open from March 18-Aug. 1.
Only those with the superintendent or superintendent designee roles in the Ohio Educational Directory System can submit the survey; other roles cannot click on the submit button.
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce will conduct optional tutorials and answer audit questions from superintendents and designees on the following dates:
