Agriculture Education Fifth Quarter Grant application open through June 30

5/1/2023

The Agriculture Education Fifth Quarter Grant is a state-funded grant to support year-round, work-based learning instruction for students enrolled in agricultural education. The grant assists local schools and career centers with supplemental fiscal resources for the delivery of extended instruction to develop student work-based learning through an organized, supervised agricultural experience.

Funding for the grant begins July 1, 2023, and runs through June 30, 2024. Successful applicants may receive grant funding in Fiscal Year 2024 for each qualifying agricultural education instructor who supervises work-based learning experiences in agricultural education.

On May 9 from 3:30-4:30 p.m., the Department will host a webinar for districts interested in applying for the Fiscal Year 2024 Agriculture Education Fifth Quarter Grant. Use this Microsoft Teams Meeting link to join the webinar.

The competitive grant application is open in the CCIP until June 30. For questions, contact Ryan Curtis.
