Register for June 1 Heading to Kindergarten Summit

Registration is open for Ohio’s Heading to Kindergarten Transition Summit. This live, virtual event will take place via Zoom June 1 from noon-4 p.m.

Heading to Kindergarten supports the development of strong partnerships between early learning programs and their receiving elementary schools.

Ohio’s Heading to Kindergarten Transition Summit provides information and resources to strengthen kindergarten readiness practices and collaboration between early childhood programs, school districts, families and community partners.

The target audience for this event includes community partners, early care and education providers, school educators and administrators, Head Start staff and family members.

The summit supports kindergarten transitions by bringing schools and communities together to build relationships, share information and align practices. Summit hosts encourage participants to gather their communities’ existing preschool to kindergarten transition teams (or create new ones) to attend this event. However, attendees without an established team are welcome to attend and learn more about successful transitions to kindergarten.
