Online course helps school leaders understand adolescent literacy

Leading Adolescent Literacy is a course designed to help school leaders evaluate and improve the quality of literacy instruction in their buildings and districts. Participants who complete this self-paced course in the Department’s Learning Management System will understand the importance of adolescent literacy and key resources and activities to begin implementing and improving literacy. The audience for this course is principals, assistant principals, curriculum directors, coaches, department leaders and anyone else with a leadership role in literacy instruction.
