Menstrual product dispensers reimbursement

11/6/2023

Effective Oct. 3, 2023, Ohio law requires each school district, community school and chartered nonpublic school that enroll girls in grades 6-12 to provide free feminine hygiene products.

Schools previously submitted requests for reimbursement of menstrual product dispensers. The Department will release funds for dispensers as part of the November school foundation payments (Nov. 9, 14 and 15). The Department will make payments to nonpublic schools Nov. 9.

The Department will determine and distribute allocations for menstrual products in spring 2024 based on the number of students served. For more information, visit the Department’s Menstrual Products in Schools webpage.
