Students invited to register for Florence Nightingale Day to learn about statistics and data science

The Caucus for Women in Statistics is hosting its sixth annual Florence Nightingale Day event. The Ohio State University will host the event in person and virtually Nov. 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Middle and high school students who are at least 13 years old and not in college or university are welcome to attend.

This event is open to students in public and nonpublic schools as part of an international event to celebrate women in statistics and data science and to promote the science of data. Students can discover career opportunities in statistics and big data, take part in fun activities and meet with industry mentors.
