Upcoming training session for understanding school attendance data

9/25/2023

Registration is open for a new learning opportunity to help schools and districts examine attendance data. The virtual training, “Understanding and Using Attendance Data for Improvement,” is targeted for Regional Data Leads, members of the Ohio Education Data Professionals Network and anyone seeking more knowledge about attendance data.

Participants will explore different types of attendance reports, look at tools to analyze data and learn about strategies to support student attendance based on that data.

Upon completion of the training, Regional Data Leads employed by educational service centers and state support teams can earn a credential and then directly help schools and districts in their regions with attendance data. School and district leadership interested in this work should connect and collaborate with their educational service center or state support team.

Virtual trainings are available Oct. 23 and Oct. 30. Interested learners can register here.
