State of Ohio Computer Science Plan public comment period open Aug. 3-17

The State Committee on Computer Science is nearing the completion of the State of Ohio Computer Science Plan. The public can comment on the draft plan through Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 11:59 p.m.

Ohio Evaluation System opens for setup Aug. 11

Superintendents or their designees can set up their districts in the Educator Evaluation System (OhioES) beginning Aug. 11. As a reminder, Ohio will fully implement OPES 2.0 for all districts in the 2022-2023 school year.

Registration open for Resident Educator Program Coordinator Virtual Fall Regional Network Meetings

The Department is hosting three regional meetings for program coordinators to engage with colleagues, share insights and strategies for program implementation, and hear from the Department’s Resident Educator Program staff. Register to attend an event this September.
