Districts still can update profile links for Ohio School Report Cards by Oct. 23

The Ohio School Report Cards for each school district, community school and Career Technical Planning District enable viewers to click a link to visit a district profile page. The district profile is a webpage created and hosted by the district that provides the district an opportunity to describe its unique qualities and successes. Submitting a link continues to be optional.
District profile links reside in the Ohio Educational Directory System (OEDS), which enables a district to update the web address as needed. In preparation for the report cards each year, districts should review their listed web addresses in OEDS and make updates if necessary. Any district that needs to update the profile link on the recently published 2022-2023 Ohio School Report Cards may follow the directions below to make changes. Changes to the report card website are not instant. District URL profiles must be updated by Oct. 23 to correct links appearing on the 2022-2023 Ohio School Report Cards. Districts that do not need to make changes do not need to take any action.
How to update your district profile link on the Ohio School Report Cards
The superintendent, superintendent’s designee or OEDS administrator must log in to an OH|ID account and have an active Department of Education profile to access OEDS.
Log in to OEDS and go to the General tab. Click “Edit” on the Organization Identity section.
In the pop-up box, go to the section titled Enter Additional Information (Optional). Enter the website address for the district-created profile page in the District’s Profile Page text box. After entering the link, click the button to Submit for Approval.
The new or updated profile link will be updated the next time the report cards on the Ohio School Report Card page are refreshed.

Please note that any other updates to OEDS data that appear on the report cards made after Sept. 14 will not be included in the update.
