Register now for the Purple Star Award application webinar

The Department invites schools to attend a webinar on the application requirements to become a Purple Star-designated school on Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. The Purple Star School designation recognizes schools that show a significant commitment to serving students and families connected to our nation’s armed forces. All applicants must demonstrate a commitment to meeting the unique needs of Ohio’s military-connected youth.

The webinar is open to schools that are completing either an initial or renewal application. Please complete the Purple Star Award Application Webinar registration form to attend the Oct. 25 session.

The Purple Star Award application window opens Nov. 1 and closes Dec. 15. Members of the Purple Star Class of 2023 will be announced in April 2023 during the Month of the Military Child.
