Department of Energy grant, prize aim to improve energy efficiency in rural and high-poverty school facilities

The U.S. Department of Energy is offering the Renew America’s Schools grant program and the Energy Champions Leading the Advancement of Sustainable Schools (Energy CLASS) Prize. Both aim to improve energy efficiency for rural and high-poverty schools. Grant concept papers are due Jan. 26. Applications for the Energy CLASS Prize are due Feb. 20.
