The Parent and Caregiver Focus Groups guidance provides districts and schools tools for conducting parent focus groups to collect qualitative data on parent perceptions of their current family engagement practices. The focus group questions ask families to give their perspectives on three areas:  opportunities for parent and caregiver participation, parent and caregiver perceptions of school quality, and communication.
