Spread the word and save lives, Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 9-15

Did you know that, on average, 115 Ohioans die each year in fires? What makes this number more difficult is that many of these deaths could have been prevented by taking a few quick and easy steps. The Great ShakeOut – worldwide earthquake preparedness drill on Oct. 20

The Great Central U.S. ShakeOut is an annual opportunity to practice how to be safe during big earthquakes and practice "drop, cover and hold on."  Participation in this drill, if documented correctly, will comply with the emergency management test requirement for schools.
