Finishing Up Spring Testing

The mathematics, science and social studies test administration window closes May 12. See the Resources section of the test portal for the manuals and scripts that must be used when administering the tests. All scorable paper documents must be returned no later than Monday, May 15. Results for the spring tests will be available in the Centralized Reporting System (CRS) on the dates listed in the Key Dates section of this newsletter. Districts may submit rescore requests in TIDE May 22-July 28. Refer to the OST Rescore and Verification Guidance document for instructions.
 

Summer Grade 3 ELA and End-of-Course Test Administrations

Summer testing is optional; students, schools, and districts may elect to participate. The summer 2023 test administration windows are:

• Grade 3 ELA: June 26-30.
• End-of-Course ELA, mathematics, science, and social studies: June 26-July 7.  

The grade 3 ELA on-time order window is open in TIDE May 8-12. District test coordinators will place orders under the “Paper Orders Grade 3 ELA Summer 2023” administration task in TIDE. All orders are subject to Department approval. Districts that wish to receive printed grade 3 ELA Pre-ID labels must access the “Paper Orders Grade 3 ELA Summer 2023” administration task in TIDE during the on-time order window and Confirm Contact Information.
 
The spring grade 3 ELA test results will be available after the summer grade 3 ELA on-time order window closes. Districts may wait until the additional order window opens on June 20 to place their initial orders for the summer test administration.
 
There is no auto-scheduled UPS pickup for the summer test administration. Districts are responsible for scheduling their own pickups.
