AASCD Administrator Checklists

District test coordinators (DTCs) should use the month of December to review the AASCD Test Coordinator Checklist available in Appendix I of the AASCD Test Administration Manual (AASCD TAM). DTCs should also ensure that administrators are reviewing the AASCD Test Administrator Checklist, available in Appendix J of the AASCD Test Administration Manual. These checklists provide test coordinators and test administrators with the following:

• Important dates and activities leading up to testing, as well as suggested timelines for preparations
• Key steps to prepare for the spring 2024 administration of the AASCD 

The spring 2024 AASCD administration runs Feb. 26- April 19, 2024.
 

Test Administration Certification Course

The optional online AASCD Test Administrator Certification course is available on the AASCD test portal. Test administrators must receive training to administer the AASCD. Districts assume all responsibility for any nonstandard test administration or testing irregularity resulting in a test invalidation due to test administration error. Search STARS or contact your local State Support Team (SST) for information regarding additional training opportunities.
