On-demand recordings available from 2024 OLAC/PBIS Showcase

On Jan. 31, 2024, more than 1,500 Ohio education leaders joined the 2024 OLAC & PBIS Showcase. The showcase combined the best of the OLAC Action Forum and Ohio PBIS Showcase and featured keynote sessions from Andy Hargreaves and Kelly Perales, along with 20 practitioner-led learning sessions. The Ohio Leadership Advisory Council currently offers on-demand recordings of these presentations. Videos are segmented and feature information and strategies shared by Ohio districts and keynoters.

The Department of Education and Workforce intends to initiate rulemaking regarding the standards for providing virtual services by registered private providers in the Autism and Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program.

Free ‘Intro to Cybersecurity’ course for K-12 school system administrators

D2L and Sinclair College have partnered to launch a free K-12 cybersecurity course to support school leaders in guiding their districts to increase their resilience to the cyber threats to students, staff, and data. Course content and registration are available from D2L’s website.

List of free and reduced-cost epinephrine autoinjectors

Ohio law requires the Department to compile and share the list of organizations and companies that offer free and reduced-cost epinephrine autoinjectors. Schools and districts can find free or reduced-cost epinephrine autoinjectors at EpiPen4Schools or Auvi-Q.
