A guidance document is available to support districts with implementing English language arts core curriculum and reading intervention materials from the Department’s approved list for the 2024-2025 school year.
Starting March 15, the Department will host virtual weekly open office hours for ReadOhio requirements and other literacy topics such as science of reading professional development, high-quality instructional materials, and high-dosage tutoring.

Through the Career Technical Education Equipment Grant Program, 56 schools will receive grants totaling more than $67.7 million, expanding career technical education access to an additional 10,345 Ohio students. The second round of this grant program will open later this spring.
