Future Forward Ohio spotlight on promising practices to accelerate learning: Dayton Public Schools

Future Forward Ohio encompasses the state’s strategic priorities for using federal funds to help students recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Spotlight on Ohio Schools and Districts webpage highlights how school leaders are using innovative and promising practices to accelerate student learning. Currently, the page features a video describing how Dayton Public Schools is using its emergency relief funds to double up on teachers in early elementary classrooms in an effort to improve student learning. In addition, read an interview with Dayton Public Schools’ superintendent, Dr. Elizabeth Lolli, as she expands on how the district is working to build more positive, productive classroom environments.
