Ohio law requires schools to report medical information annually, including the number of students with diabetes enrolled, number of diabetic medication errors, and the procurement and administration of glucagon, inhalers, and epinephrine. For the 2023-2024 school year, public schools and community schools must report in EMIS by July 17, and nonpublic schools must report in the Nonpublic Data Collection System in the OHID portal by Aug. 31.

INFOhio has purchased professional learning and student eBooks from EBSCO through funding from Future Forward Ohio to support the teaching of computer science and artificial intelligence (AI) for students in grades 6-12. This collection includes eBooks that may be used by an unlimited number of students and educators in Ohio simultaneously, making it easy for educators to assign common texts.

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has commissioned the American Institutes for Research (AIR) to perform a comprehensive study to better understand the programmatic needs of students who are economically disadvantaged and the corresponding cost of supporting these needs.
The Department seeks nominations by April 19 for excellent candidates to serve on a panel. Each panel will consist of up to eight members.
