Free continuing education STEM opportunities for K-12 educators

DriveOhio is hosting three opportunities for Ohio K-12 educators to earn free continuing education units and learn how students can explore advanced mobility career pathways with the DriveOhio K-12 Educator Toolkit and Portable Innovation Labs from the PAST Foundation. Both virtual and in-person options are available.

• Virtual: April 16 - Drones and Vertiports - 3:30-4:30 p.m. - Register to attend this Microsoft Teams Virtual Event.
• Virtual: April 23 - Delivery Robots Webinar - 3:30-4:30 p.m. - Register to attend this Microsoft Teams Virtual Event.
• In-Person: June 5 - Drones and Delivery Robots - 1-3 p.m - Register to attend this event at the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Participants will obtain hands-on experience while developing ideas on how to use this free, standards-aligned curriculum in a variety of settings including classrooms, after-school and summer programs, and more.

DriveOhio also will share information about alignment with Ohio Career Connections and industry-recognized credentials and discuss best practices from Ohio K-12 educators using this curriculum across a variety of regions, grade bands, and school types.
