Find literacy professional development on Department’s Learning Management System

Two literacy-specific coaching courses are available in the Ohio Department of Education Learning Management System. 

“Instructional Coaching for Literacy” can help literacy coaches, building and district leaders and other staff who support the improvement of literacy instruction develop a high-quality and data-driven approach to instructional coaching.

“Peer Coaching for Literacy” provides an overview of a high-quality peer coaching program for literacy, outlines the necessary conditions for success, and provides individuals and teams the opportunity to think deeply about how to implement high-quality peer coaching at their school.
