Seeking feedback from businesses on new industry-recognized credentials

The Department is seeking feedback from businesses on new industry-recognized credentials recently submitted for consideration for the approved graduation list. The industry-recognized credential feedback survey requests feedback on recognition of the industry credentials and their use in the hiring process. The industry-recognized credential review process relies on industry partners to validate the need for credentials in their respective career fields to ensure students are earning credentials that are valued by Ohio businesses or tied to Ohio’s Top Jobs List.

To ensure as many quality responses as possible, the Department is asking school personnel to send the survey to their industry partners and business advisory councils and encourage them to take part. Survey participants should be involved in the hiring process at their companies, such as members of the human resources team or hiring managers. Industry partners may pass the survey on to anyone they feel meets this criterion to participate.
