Ohio EPA Academic Institution Recycle Ohio Grant window opens Nov. 7

Public and private K-12 schools, colleges and universities may apply to receive funding for recycling efforts as well as outreach and education, recycling equipment and conference sponsorships.
The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency is offering two information webinars to learn about upcoming recycling and litter prevention grant opportunities.
Funds also are available to complete beneficial use projects that incorporate the use of ground tire rubber. Grantees have 24 months to complete a Scrap Tire for Civil Engineering/Construction project, and 12 months to complete all other project categories. Grants are awarded on an annual basis.
Grant applications must be submitted through the Ohio EPA’s Customer Support Center. Applications open Nov. 7, 2022, and close Feb. 3, 2023.
The Customer Support Center will prompt an applicant to log in or create an account if they do not already have one. The applicant may then select "Recycle Ohio Grant" to begin the submission process.
