Join the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge

Each year, the New Hampshire Department of Education supports the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge. This year, they invite Ohio’s classrooms to join them. The goal of the challenge is to send holiday cards to U.S. soldiers who are overseas.

The guidelines are simple: Address the cards to “Dear Warrior,” write a holiday greeting or personal note, and sign with first name and hometown. Cards can be signed as a group or individually, and participants may send as many cards as they like. Cards should be no larger than an 8x11-size paper folded in half. Envelopes are not required but if participants use them, they should not be sealed or addressed. The deadline to send cards is Nov. 18.
